In exploring the dark of our shadows, we are finally able to illuminate our souls. We are finally able to see ourselves clearly - in all our GLORY. The shadow is the path to our light. Bypassing the shadow necessarily bypasses our light - our medicine - our individual ways of planting love on Earth. Notice the irritations and annoyances of the day. Notice the places where peace is disrupted, where judgment pops up - whether coming from within or toward you, where gossip is a temptation, where self-care is a challenge... Notice these places where ease becomes a challenge... the shadow inviting you in...
explore...play with awareness...experience release... notice glimmers of light... YOUR light... there are threads to growth, to gifts, to divine love here. As divine love enters, we breathe with a little more ease, with a little more freedom, with a little more peace. Our lights reach toward one another. Love (God) has entered.

We finish up a BIG BLAST of a moon cycle this week. As the Dark of the Moon (the New Moon, the beginning of the moon cycle when we can't see the moon) approaches, consider looking back over the 28 days of the past moon cycle. Do any of these questions light up for you?
Were there any particular emotional triggers which seemed to return over and over again? Were there any particular joys that appeared or resurfaced in your life? Any words, symbols, numbers, book titles, teachings. people or anything else that may have come to your attention repeatedly during this time period? Have any relationships changed during this time period? Do you feel relieved of any burdens? How have you or your life been changed during this last moon cycle? If any of these questions light up, what does it mean to you? What do you feel is the most loving way to continue this inner work as you move into the New Moon on Sunday? |
